Town Planner shares vision for a thriving Townsville CBD
Connectivity is key.
That was the central theme Brazier Motti Director and Senior Town Planner Stephen Motti shared when he outlined his vision for a thriving Townsville city centre.
As part of the Townsville Bulletin’s Future Townsville series, Stephen discussed what he sees as the priorities for revitalising the CBD and growing Townsville. Planning is underway for the 2032 Olympics, with Townsville a host city for some events. This is an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy in the community. For Stephen, the 2032 Olympics is an opportunity to invest in the future of North Queensland. Not just for visitors, but for locals living, working, and raising a family.
Townsville already world-class assets – from the Strand to the Stadium. Bringing these together into a connected network can leave a legacy that continues to revitalise the CBD long after 2032.
As a longstanding North Queensland business, Brazier Motti is proud to draw on our local Town Planning expertise to contribute to the growth of our region.
